Default Heroes for Dervish

I was wondering if anyone had input about good heroes to bring along with my Dervish (btw I use one of the ZV builds) for pve. I was thinking some form of WoH monk hero but I don't know what else would complement my Dervish. Thanks for the help.

These days about anything works to be honest .
I would go for this:

One healer using this:
Mo/Me
Healing Prayers 12 + 1 + 1
Divine Favor 10 + 1
Inspiration magic 8

1 Word of healing/Healer's boon
2 Patient spirit / Ethreal light
3 Dwayna's kiss
4 Heaven's delight
5 Cure Hex
6 Ressurection chant
7 Waste not Want Not
8 Power drain

One MM using this:
N/Mo
Death Magic 12+1+1
Soul Reaping 8+1
protection Prayers 9
Healing prayers leftover points

1 Jagged Bones / Aura of the Lich
2 Animate bone minions
3 Death Nova
4 Protective spirit
5 Shield of absorption
6 Aegis
7 Signet of the lost souls
8 Dwayna's sorrow

One monk hero using this:
Mo/Rt
Smiting Prayers 12+1+1
Divine favor 9+1
Channeling magic 9

1 Ray of Judgement / Signet of Spirits
2 Castigation signet
3 Reversal of damage
4 Smite hex
5 Smite condition
6 Smiter's Boon
7 Splinter weapon
8 Ancestor's rage / Strength of Honor

In area's with few/no corpses I would switch out the MM hero for a hero using Spiteful Spirit or something else that is needed in that area.

Anyway, that's what I'm using on my dervish.
Or you can always go gimmicky and use things like Discord/Sab/Spirit-way

You're a physical so I'm going to suggest 3 things. I won't bore you with full builds:

1) Splinter Weapon.
2) Order of Pain. (You can't use this with Holy damage if you have any of the converting skills.)
3) Strength of Honor.

If you put some support onto 1/2 of your heroes; the Hench healers will suffice.

*nods* Having a D or E/N Orders around is useful if you rely on an elite enchantment. You'll usually have at least two cover enchantments for your Zealous Vow, which makes it a lot less painful to run in areas with removal. I usually have Melonni on pure Blood and Mysticism:

Arcane Zeal
Order of Pain
Dark Fury
Blood Ritual (Monks are better of healing than Melonni)
Blood Bond (Jaundiced Gaze if lots of enemy enchantments)
Mark of Fury
Watchful Intervention
Faithful Intervention

The PvX Wind Prayers version doesn't spam Mystic Healing often enough to keep me happy and spends too much time running around trying to Dwayna's Touch everything. Obviously, you'd want your team to take advantage of the enchantments and hexes, so I run an Earth Shaker Koss unless there's a compelling reason not to. The third depends. Sometimes an interrupting Mesmer. Other times, a Soul Twisting Ritualist. If nothing else is going on, an Earth Shaker Jora. The KD amuses me.

One hero I have found quite useful for my derv is a rit/mo with 16 channeling and around 8 or 9 smiting:

1) Bloodsong
2) Signet of Spirits
3) Painful Bond or Smite Hex (depending on where I am going)
4) Ancestors Rage
5) Spirit Siphon
6) Splinter Weapon
7) Strength of Honor (disable and micro it)
8) Flesh of My Flesh or Renew Life

I usually also bring a nec hero with MoP and Barbs. If you do this, make sure you are doing physical damage with your attacks. As for the monk suggestions made by others, I would encourage you to include more rather than less enchantments, unless you are going somewhere with heavy enchant stripping.

I agree with the previous suggestions.

My current favorites are:

Minion Bomber

SoS/Splinter Smite

ER Protter

just get a monk, a minion master, and a signet of spirits spammer, then you can aggro with out fear cause you got an army with you.

I disagree with bringing a dedicated backline (healer/protter) hero unless you're partying with other people and the backline slot needs to be filled.

Mhenlo should suffice.
